In another strong outing, Paul Byrd did what he could, but wasn't able to close out the deal.
I guess i can't get too upset that we keep losing low scoring games. Especially with the lineup that we have, right? How can you sit here and blame Perez for giving up the runs, and not ask yourself, where have our bats gone?
I'm not asking for grand slams every inning. But I do feel like I can ask for our offensive players to try to touch their bats to the opposing pitchers balls.
I might be WAY out there, but I do think that we are missing a crucial part of the game. Hitting is good. Seriously.
New season starts now. Can we put together a game in which both offense and defense decide to play together. Let's do this guys.
