There are only 2 things that you never fear in baseball.......Barry Zito or the Kansas City Royals. So you have to know that I knew something was wrong about this season when last night I was nervous about our ace/Cy Young winner pitching against K.C.
So it's hard to tell if this was just C.C. being C.C., or K.C. being K.C. Either way, it worked out fine.
Casey Blake decided to personally make sure that there was no way possible for the bullpen to blow the lead. Going 4-4 to improve his batting average to a whopping .233
